Ebay's Paypal v.s. Google's "Wallet"?
I've just seen this hit-the-point review
(in Chinese, by Earl Zhang) on recently exposed Google's strategy to
compete with Paypal. I know Ebay had its own online payment system
(BillPoint), but 50%+ of ebay customers then loved using Paypal.
That was why Ebay decided to give up its own system and acquired Paypal
in 2002. Earl's point reminds me that small business owners at Ebay
could also be the drivers behind.
